It’s not an easy decision to choose a baby name, and the possibilities are endless — but some names may be more popular this year than others.

给宝宝起名字并非易事，无尽的选项可谓让家长们难以决定。但在今年，有些名字可能比其他名字更受欢迎。

Names.org released its annual predictionsfor the most popular baby names of 2022, based on Social Security Administration data on actual births and user activity on its website. The site has been 95% accuratein predictions over the last three years.

根据美国联邦社会保障署官网上有关实际出生和用户活动的数据，Names.org发布了对2022年最受欢迎宝宝名字的年度预测。在过去三年中，该网站的预测准确率为95%。

Liam ranks number one for boys. Names.org predicts 18,960 babies will be named Liam in 2022. Olivia ranks number one for girls, with a predicted 16,510 babies named Olivia.

在男孩中，最受欢迎的名字是利亚姆。Names.org 网站预测，到2022年，将有18960名宝宝叫利亚姆。而在女孩中，排名第一的名字是奥利维亚，预计有16510名宝宝名叫奥利维亚。

Names.org said that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemichas caused many to feel stuck in the last few years, which can explain why the boys list looks similar to 2021. No new names entered the top 10 for the 2022 predictions. However, Henry moved up one spot to number 8, which bumpedLucas down to number 9.

As for girls, Luna made the list for the first time at number 10. Charlotte and Amelia are also gaining popularity; Charlotte moved up from number 4 to 3, and Amelia moved up from number 6 to number 4.
