　　老师在教新班级时要做的第一件事就是知道所有孩子的名字。

　　我们的助教之所以会为孩子们贴上有他们自己名字的牌子，是为了帮助老师们认识新的班级里所有孩子的名字。

　　有人说，世界上最动听的声音就是听别人叫出自己的名字。我觉得，这句话很有道理，尤其是对小孩子来说。知道孩子的名字会让他们心怀感激，更集中注意力认真听课，参与课堂活动并记住他们所学的知识。

　　而对我们老师来说，当我们表扬孩子，记住他们的名字时，他们脸上那灿烂而美丽的笑容就是对我们最大的回报。

　　在围圈时间，我们有时会玩一些游戏，让小孩子们熟悉自己的名字，并慢慢习惯和同学们互相进行自我介绍。

　　总之，在教新的班级时，老师应该尽快知道孩子们的名字，这样孩子们会有一种被重视的感觉，老师也能更好地管理课堂！

　　They say the sweetest word in any language is the sound of your own name. I especially think this is true of young children. Learning their name makes them appreciated and makes them more likely to be engaged in class, participate and remember the knowledge they are taught.

　　There is also a great reward for us teachers when the kids give you a bright and beautiful smile when you give praise and remember their name.

　　Sometimes we will play games at circle time to familiarize the younger children with saying their own names and getting used to introducing themselves to their fellow students.

　　All in all, learning children’s names is a great way to make children feel valued, to give the teacher more control of the classroom and should be done as soon as possible when teaching a new class!
